The Nordy is available in four and five string versions known as the vJ4 and the vJ5. These basses are entirely made in the
USA and feature the exceptional fit, finish, and playability that all Nordstrand instruments are known for.
More importantly, they can be fitted with any of our fine pickups for some of the best tones available.

Above is a vJ4 and it features: Alder body
in three tone burst, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard on maple neck, tortoise
pickguard, NJ4 single coil pickups with volume, volume, tone for controls.

Above is a vJ5 and it features: Alder body in Ice Blue Metallic, Indian Rosewood fingerboard on maple neck, Fat Stack 5 pickups with a Nordstrand 3 band preamp in a rear rout control cavity. Controls are Volume (pull for passive), blend, passive tone (pull for hum cancelling), treble, mid, bass. |

Specifications:
vJ4:
The vJ4 comes with Nordstrand NJ4 single coil J style pickups as standard
with two volumes and a tone (volume, blend, tone is an available option).
Scale is 34" with 20 frets, radius is 9" to 14" compound, small
vintage style fret wire, 1.5" bone nut, 19mm ctc bridge spacing, and
a fast satin finished neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
vJ5:
The vJ5 comes with Nordstrand NJ5 single coil J style pickups as standard
with two volumes and a tone (volume, blend, tone is an available option).
Scale is 34.5" with 21 frets, radius is 12" to 20" compound,
small vintage style fretwire, 1.81" bone nut, 19mm ctc bridge spacing
and a fast satin finish neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
